Wow! This place is so fruity!
It might not be Ace Attorney 7, but Fangamer have launched a fabulously foolish new range of official Capcom tie-in merchandising, including a bunch of goodies related to Wright and Co. There’s a tonne of cute new options available across their North American and European stores. But, one specific new addition really caught my eye:
A pair of matching FranMaya enamel pins, sold as a pair. For you to share with your bestie, of course. And understandably, Reddit and Instagram are losing their shit about it.
The adorable pins, marketed as “Maya vs. Franziska”, were designed by Nina Matsumoto, A.K.A. Space Coyote, whose work you might recognise from other lines at Fangamer and for her long list of comics credits. The pins feature an irate-looking, rosy-cheeked Maya Fey, who seems to be being scolded by a condescendingly confident Franziska Von Karma. Which seems like a pretty canon-accurate interaction to me.
Although the pins are sold as a pair, they’re two totally separate accessories, meaning you can decide how to place them and who to share them with.
My bracelet suggests there are Klapollo crumbs nearby

Looking for a couple more little buddies to adorn your coat or backpack? Look no further – Fangamer have a few other pins from the Ace Attorney-verse and beyond. One that really grabbed me was the Let’s Rock! Lenticular Pin, which featured a sweet little Apollo Justice propped on a TV watching his favourite guilty pleasure on TV: Klavier Gavin. Aww.
This one rocks a similar style to the Maya vs. Franciska pin, and was also designed by Matsumoto, so they should fit in together nicely. The gang’s all here!
Ace Attorney is no stranger to slash-curious merchandising

It took me years to get into Ace Attorney, having had NaruMitsu dangled like a carrot in front of my face for the best part of a decade by my partner. Once I finally started to work my way through it, I was surprised by just how (W)right the fandom was: this shit really is ridiculously gay.
Little surprised me as much as the official tie-in matching Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth jewellery set, though. Yes, you read that correctly. And yes, they do look like engagement rings.
A few years ago, Material Crown made a range of Ace Attorney jewellery. Various pendants and rings reflected different characters from the series, each tying in with their respective badges and emblems. Inexplicably – but, well, not really – Phoenix and Edgeworth’s were the only two rings. I genuinely don’t think I need to elaborate on this point any more.
In case you feel like it’s a bit soon to sport matching rings with your bestie, Fangamer are also offering some matching Phoenix and Edgeworth merch in the form of t-shirts. They aren’t a part of the new range, but there are a few left in stock anyway. The shirts are also designed by Matsumoto.
