Power Up This Pride and Support Indie Studios with Humble Bundle

The bundle is available until the end of June

There’s a lot to love about indie games. Perhaps the best part is being able to escape the endless churn of mainstream stories, which won’t always represent the diversity of real life, into narratives that better reflect our lived experiences.

There are a lot of fantastic LGBTQIA+ indie games out there that are worth trying, and this Pride month, Humble Bundle have shared a curated collection LGBTQIA+ games in support of both the game devs involved and Xperience Studios. The Power Up Pride bundle offers seven games in total, all with Steam reviews in the 80s and 90s.

The full bundle of seven games is less than £10 (or around $13 USD/€12 EUR), with other options available for smaller donations. The titles included are:

  • Echoes of the Plum Grove
  • Kindred Spirits on the Roof
  • Haven
  • Sticky Business
  • Heart of the Woods
  • Welcome to Elk
  • A Normal Lost Phone

It’s a varied bunch, so you’re bound to find something you’re interested in.

Kindred Spirits and Heart of the Woods are both lesbian visual novels, with the former focused on playing cupid and the latter on a mystical romance that spans life and death. If you’re looking for more action, then Haven might be a little more up your street. In this adventure RPG, couple Yu and Kay discover a long-forgotten planet. It even has a multiplayer mode, making it perfect for some cosy Pride celebrations on the couch with your beloved (or crush).

Other inclusions in the bundle are the much-hyped Sticky Business, which allows you to, well, start a sticker business; Unwound Gamescomfy farming simulator Echoes of the Plum Grove; the excellent narrative-puzzler A Normal Lost Phone; and Welcome to Elk, a 2D adventure game packed with fun minigames. Even just picking up a couple of games in the bundle would give you tonnes to do for the rest of June and way beyond.

The total value of the bundle sits at almost £100, so you’re paying a fraction of the price you would if you picked up each game individually. It’s a total steal and well worth grabbing while it’s there – but act fast, as the deal wraps up at the end of June.

Interested in picking up some other queer games this June? Tell Me Why is being given away for free for the rest of the month.
